With over a decade behind the chair, Julianna is the visionary force behind Rose & Co Salon. As founder and owner, she’s created a space where elevated beauty meets authenticity — blending professionalism, warmth, and artistry in every detail.
Her expertise lies in precision cutting, lived-in color, and the simple perfection of a well-done root touch-up — one of her favorite services. Passionate about education and growth, Julianna mentors her team with a focus on creativity, consistency, and client care.
Equal parts creative and strategic, she oversees everything from branding to service experience, ensuring each guest feels confident, seen, and beautifully styled. Outside the salon, you’ll find her in the garden, spending time with her family, or dreaming up her next big idea.
Malynda
Malynda is an Okanagan Local with a big heart, a vibrant personality, and a love for her ever-growing family (including her beloved cats, Stanley and Stella).
Known for her expertise in extensions and her advanced color education with industry leaders like L’Oréal Professionnel, Redken, Joico, and Oligo, Malynda is passionate about helping clients achieve their dream look. Whether it's luminous blonding, transformative extensions, modernized perms, or effortlessly layered cuts, she brings a creative eye and skilled hand to every service.
With her playful spirit and timeless soul, Malynda brings a fresh yet nostalgic vibe to everything she does because in her chair, it’s never just a haircut; it’s a statement.
Whitney
Originally from Calgary, Whitney joined Rose & Co. in 2021 with over a decade of experience behind the chair. As a seasoned colorist and proud Oligo Professionnel Technique Advisor, she brings her passion for blonding, balayage, and color correction to every client.
Known for her strategic placement and exceptional eye for color, Whitney has mastered the art of creating seamless, radiant blondes in record time. Her background in the arts fuels her fresh, outside-the-box approach to hair, making each look both effortless and elevated.
When she’s not teaching techniques or transforming hair, Whitney enjoys quality time with her daughter, painting, cooking, and being shadowed by her sassy dachshund. Grounded yet adaptable, introverted yet magnetic, Whitney is all about helping clients feel like the best version of themselves, every single day.
Laura
Laura is a seasoned stylist with years of experience and a passion for creating bold, expressive hair. Originally from Vancouver, she’s been bringing her creative edge to Penticton since 2018, now proudly styling at Rose & Co Salon.
Laura specializes in short & textured haircuts, effortless highlights, and messy lived-in styles full of movement and personality. Her love for fashion colors and fearless approach to transformation make her a go-to for clients looking to break the mold and stand out. With a natural eye for shape and detail, Laura brings an editorial flair to everyday hair.
Outside the salon, you’ll find her treasure-hunting in second-hand shops, watching true crime, or enjoying happy hour with friends. Known for her killer sense of humor, consistency, and signature footwear collection, Laura is more than a stylist, she’s an artist who turns hair into self-expression.
Damara
Damara is a vibrant stylist known for her rich brunettes, highlighting, precision cuts, and calming energy behind the chair. Originally from Penticton and now based in Summerland, she brings creativity, skill, and care to every guest experience at Rose & Co Salon.
Damara has a true passion for cutting long, thick hair and crafting bobs that are both flattering and effortlessly wearable. As a Level 2 Reiki practitioner, she also offers energy-infused shampoo sessions for those seeking a little extra relaxation.
When she’s not in the salon, you’ll find her with her two young boys, catching up on true crime, or dancing and singing with her girlfriends — always with a little Mariah Carey magic in the mix. Damara is all about connection, confidence, and helping you leave the salon feeling your absolute best!
Jana
Jana is your go-to for all things glam, textured, and bold. Originally from Williams Lake, Jana made Penticton home in 2017 with her high school sweetheart, son, and their lively crew of pets (yes, even a boa constrictor). She began her journey at Rose & Co in 2022 at the front desk, quickly falling in love with the salon energy. By December 2024, she officially stepped behind the chair full time.
Jana specializes in vibrant coppers, pastel hues, balayage, curly haircuts, and voluminous blowouts. Her love for textured, dimensional hair and expressive color is matched by her dedication to growth and creativity in her craft.
When she’s not creating hair magic, you’ll find her behind a camera, lifting weights, singing her heart out, or adding to her ever-growing shaker cup and tumbler collection. Known for her ever-evolving style and infectious energy, Jana is all about helping clients embrace their inner glam, because with her, every day is a fabulous hair day.
Emily
Born and raised in Penticton, Emily brings warmth, creativity, and a sharp eye for detail to the front desk at Rose & Co. After living in Victoria for 4 years Emily returned to Penticton and joined the team in November 2024 as our receptionist and creative assistant.
With a passion for photography, editing, design, and storytelling, Emily supports the salon’s branding through content creation and social media, capturing the artistry and personality behind the scenes.
When she’s not at the salon, Emily enjoys kayaking, archery, reading, boxing, and spending time with her dog Charlie. Friendly, efficient, and always up for a thoughtful and serious conversations, Emily keeps the salon running smoothly while adding a creative spark to everything she touches.
